Satellite Selection & Shared Focus
OSOIX uses one explicit NORAD catalog object as the shared focus identity across compatible read-only surfaces. Selecting an object binds analytical views to that identity; it does not establish an RF, telemetry, custody or command connection.
Pick a satellite from the catalog or type its NORAD number. OSOIX then uses the same satellite when it shows position, motion, projections and related evidence.
Choose the space object you want to learn about. OSOIX follows that object on its maps. Choosing it does not mean we are controlling the satellite.

Operator & learner steps
- Open the Satellite Directory.
- Search by satellite name, NORAD ID or object type.
- Select / Focus the object.
- Check the object name and NORAD ID before using analytical screens.
- Use Clear when you want OSOIX to return to a neutral, no-object-selected state.
