Permitted use

You may use the public OSOIX website for lawful research, education, evaluation and authorised business purposes. You must not attempt unauthorised access, circumvent access controls, interfere with service availability, introduce malicious code, misuse credentials, falsify evidence or use OSOIX to facilitate unlawful surveillance or harm.

Not an operational safety authority

OSOIX outputs are informational and evidentiary aids, not authoritative collision-avoidance instructions, air-navigation information, emergency alerts, military tasking or governmental space-traffic commands. Users responsible for operational decisions must use appropriate official and professionally validated sources.

Modeled and third-party data

Orbital positions, trajectories, events, cameras, ground observations, weather or other intelligence may be modeled, delayed, incomplete or supplied by third parties. Freshness and provenance indicators must be considered before relying on a display.

Customer services

Paid or restricted customer services may be governed by separate written service terms, scope, data-use rules, permitted users, fees, service levels and security requirements. Those terms prevail for the relevant customer service.

Intellectual property

No licence is granted to commercially reproduce OSOIX branding, proprietary interfaces, source code or documentation except as expressly permitted. Third-party data remains subject to applicable source licences and rights.

Consumer rights, liability and law

Nothing removes mandatory statutory rights. To the extent permitted by law, OSOIX is not liable for decisions made in disregard of published data-source, freshness or model limitations. Nothing limits non-excludable liability. Subject to mandatory protections, these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
