Operational Confidence & Corroboration

Operational Confidence uses deterministic source quality, freshness, element quality and independent-provider agreement. OSOIX deliberately does not invent a probabilistic confidence percentage.

OSOIX checks whether sources are fresh, usable and independently supported. It reports bands such as strong or guarded and explains the reasons.

Before trusting a picture of the world, OSOIX asks: is the information fresh, does another source agree, and is anything missing? It does not make up a magic trust number.

  2. Check source availability and element quality.
  3. Check whether independent Space-Track corroboration exists.
  4. Review discrepancy counts before relying on the state.

What the terms mean

Corroboration

Independent sources support the same modeled object state within declared review heuristics.

Guarded

Usable information exists, but one or more quality/independence conditions remain incomplete.

Deterministic

The result follows explicit rules rather than an opaque probability score.
