Mission Control
Read-only operational intelligence cockpit
What this workspace is for
Use Mission Control to inspect modeled orbital state, source health, evidence, spacecraft-context panels and review readiness. Presentation controls never create spacecraft command authority.
How to use it
- Use the Flight Deck controls on each panel to move, minimize, maximize, close or reset that instrument.
- Use the Flight Deck tray to restore hidden instruments or reset the entire cockpit layout.
- Select an orbital object to populate modeled kinematics and spacecraft context. Modeled state is not direct onboard telemetry.
- Use timestamps and provenance labels to distinguish current modeled state, observations, direct telemetry availability and stale/unavailable inputs.
- Treat decision-readiness and evidence panels as review aids. Human authorization remains mandatory for any real operational action outside OSOIX.
Terms on the screen
Authenticated spacecraft-originated telemetry. When not connected, OSOIX must show that boundary explicitly.
The presentation-only window manager for arranging Mission Control instruments.
The displayed Mission Control surface has no spacecraft command path.
Important boundaries
- Never interpret modeled values as onboard spacecraft sensor readings.
- A green/readiness state does not itself authorize a real-world command or mission action.
